Hi,
If you are reading this thread, it's probably that you were interested at first after seeing the link on the map.
There is only two main rules that you should follow, and they are simply common sense :
- Respect other players roleplay
Some players have a long term RP, others have a short term RP. Both players are welcome and everybody should be able to have fun together.
Though, when you are doing short term RP, please consider how it might affect long term players. Sure, tomorrow you will move to something else, but consider it can be really frustrating for someone playing it's character for month to suffer effect from a one hour fun.
- Never force something on someone else
Should it be something that affect the player character and have long term effects, be something sexual, violent or able to stuck the character for a long time (example abducting the character and emprison it for days), you should always have the character OOC consent. If the player feel uncomfortable, don't want to follow this path for his character, or just look for a way out, always offer him this way out.
As long as you respect theses two rules, no matter what you do, it should be ok
The long term and short term thing can be sometime hard to balance, but most people around here don't bite. If you wish to do something and aren't sure about this, simply try to discuss it.
PvP might look a bit strange for most of 3dx players, but it something that happen around there. That's where the long term players will have some advantages. The system will always prevail on anything else to prevent situation where everybody always have a parry and some "stronger" ability than the one the other players just used.
About the character system it's purely optional, but will be requested if you wish to participate in events and have a strong role in the storyline.
If you need more details, there is old rules explaining the fighting system or clarifying things. Feel free to search them, but if you prefer to keep a "light" role, you don't need too.
