Most of players (including me), refer in RP as "this city" or something like that because the city don't have any name Any ideas ?

I've seen it referred to as the city of 'Seaside' based on the hotel name, that would probably make the most intuitive sense.
It might also be nice to determine which country/state it actually exists in, since certain laws vary a lot from place to place and it feels weird just making up something that sounds right regarding drugs, guns, etc.

Part of me likes "the city" at this point, only because it gives this connotation I enjoy playing with that it is some sort of limbo dimension like Silent Hill. However, I suppose it should have a name. If nothing else I think calling the room something catchier than "The Hotel / The City" Will bring in more people. Especially if some of the players are now advertising it in global.
We know it's on a coast obviously, west or east might be a good starting point (I've just always assumed it is in America, but I don't think that has 100% been established in my time online). I always enjoy references to other things so I might suggest either Maine or Massachusetts for that Stephen King / Lovecraftian undertone --it has always seemed to me to have that kinda vibe, given the oceans, fogs, and spooky forests as well as the overall plot of the main story.
As for the city name itself I am probably one of the people that has occasionally referred to it as "Seaside" when I couldn't avoid calling it something more vague. Realistically Seaside might be the best choice since it is a name most long term players already associate with the room in some regard. Otherwise we could always get more creative and name it something super ironic like "Innocence" hehe.

I always imagined the place as being way more tropical than Maine, though a winter version of the map could be interesting if a bit depressing

It's hard to pin down because of the style of the forests versus other things. And yeah, it occurs to me there hasn't been much discussion of the weather or climate. Although if how we dress is any indication...it is warm lol So maybe west coast would be the better idea.

You'd certainly have a lot of places that fit the climate along the Mediterranean sea, the other options would be the typical cliche California, though Oregon is similar and might fit the remote coastal location feel a bit better.

I think having it in California would be good. Cliche sure, but that's where movie stars, celebrities and all the hot people live lol, pardon the stereotype. I think it fits perfectly. Everyone in the RP room (and 3dx for that matter) is very fit and beautiful/handsome. Plus we have a film set above the club and some characters interested in being behind camera.
I was also thinking it should be a made up city that doesn't exist, but theoretically could. That way we are free to form the city how we want without having to get too detailed or adhere to certain details of a real city. But we could certainly say "near Los Angeles" or something.

How about San Juniper, as a shout out to the Black Mirror episode "San Junipero"? If you haven't seen it, I won't spoil it but I highly recommend it. A few of us were actually talking about that OOCly one night.

We do need to keep in mind though, that canonically there have been many references to it being relatively isolated; somewhere that kinda sprang up around the hotel for the most part. And it has always been played as a place where like...if we are in trouble, we're in trouble, the national guard isn't coming to save us (Present event excluded). If there are places in California like that it suits me fine. Although Sumner and I just finally agreed to be from California and it is sorta in our backstory that we both left our hometown...although not necessarily our home state I guess. Always pictured Sybil as having moved a ways away from it though. (Just thinking out loud on that one. I don't expect our backstory to influence a server decision hehe).

Yeah I always imagined most of the California coast as being pretty busy, except maybe the north part? That's why I suggested Oregon as maybe a less urban alternative that's still close, but I might be off on that one too.
Pretty much all of my police RP knowledge comes from watching GTA5 RP on twitch, and they base San Andreas laws off of California laws so that would make things a bit more familiar for me at least.

I think northern California works. If you look up around crescent city that seems remote-ish with the sea and lots of forests in the area. We could even have it be an island, maybe one connected by one of those long-ass road bridges. I only mention that because, as it is now occurring to me, we have ocean on two opposite side of the map hehe, though that could just be peninsula or something. However, by calling it an island that is semi-connected, I feel like we could get the best of both worlds. It can be pretty tourist-y when we want it to be and cut off at other times, if the bridge is somehow out or there's a big storm or something. Edit: I am also fine with San Juniper, though I have not seen that show, I love me some nerd references (I just browbeat Sumner into letting us be from Santa Carla, the town from Lost Boys hehe).
