I can't really think of anything that's come up that I wished there was a skill for really...
I do wonder about making arts and society serve a better function though. I think that was part of the idea with tying them to the money system, which is a good thought, but we also dunno what direction we're going with that. All the other skills serve a "function" right now. In the long term it might be easier to drop those two if they don't end up serving a purpose. In other words; why have skills for things that are RP only? Unless Franklinn and I start having rap battles or something I don't see Arts ever being used in an opposed contest (maybe you have plans for this, I might try and integrate them into my stuff as well honestly)
Another possible fix might be making a little chart with things like: 1 point in society = you know some friends around town who might let you crash with them for the night.
5 points in society = you are a known and respected citizen who is rarely thought of as suspicious.
10 points = you are friends with local officials who can make problems "disappear"
Stuff like that.
Anyways I know that's not exactly what you're asking but I thought of it when I saw your question ^^

Actually that's a good idea !
A bit like some pen&paper roleplay where caps in some skills give you allies or ressources.
The same way art could be related to being famous for some characters or something like that.
That could make theses skills really interesting.

On a somewhat related note, we could probably use a post (and link it in the FAQ) with a bunch of examples and standards for how common things are typically rolled, since I've been asked OOC once or twice by people who wanted to roll an opposed athletics check for something (as an example) and weren't totally sure which die to roll because it isn't clearly stated anywhere. I know in a pinch you can just roll whatever as long as both players agree that it's fair, and if their bonus stat is the same it doesn't matter what die you use.
I believe things are balanced around d5 being used most for those kinds of checks (so having 5 in a skill is a huge advantage over someone with 0), but the rules are really only laid out clearly for combat stuff, and I've seen d20 or d100 used for some other things in events.

I think d5 is pretty fair yes, as someone who invested several points in some skills will hardly be defeated by someone with 0.
In event d20 is the "luck" dice somehow, it help me figure if a player succeed to do something out of his stats, or how bad he fail at something or even to figure which player will be targeted by some evil thing to make it a bit more random. d100 is for loot most of the time. I have a google sheet with several line defining the result for 1 to 10, 11 to 20 etc, with some ranges bigger or smaller than the others.
But you are right on two things, it should be a bit more clear in the rules, and players can choose to do otherwise if they both agree on it.

What do you think of adding specialization to skills ? Live each 5 points you can take a "specialization" that give you a +1 bonus for that specific thing.
For example : - Dicretion 5 (+1 lockpicking) - Engineering 10 (+1 chemistry, +1 explosives), - Athletics 15 (+3 climbing)
Or would it be too complicated ?

It's not necessarily a bad idea, but we'll start needing to come up with some way to track these things, especially for people who play outside of the room as well. It's almost impossible for me to add new information to my profile at this point and I've already deleted most of my OOC information. The character limit on profiles is stupidly small, especially for people who like nice formatting. Currently we don't have a place on the website to list our specializations or rules that might apply only to our character (like I had no idea where to post my demon stuff).
